Hi! So glad you are considering taking a next step toward healing and freedom from life-controlling difficulties! It certainly takes courage and humility to enter into your pain or fears with someone you just met. The journey may not be easy and in fact, it may be uncomfortable at times! Remembering and exploring hurtful or difficult times while increasing your understanding and awareness of their impact can bring on strong emotion and anxiety. There is no magic pill and I cannot promise that you or your situation will change; but know that I will try my best to understand you, to help you identify your needs, clarify your desired outcome, and walk with you through it!
About Me
Creds
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with the state of Florida. I received my Master’s of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Previous work experience includes time at a teen treatment center, working with women, couples, and young adults at two different counseling centers, and spending several years working with SED children (severe emotionally disturbed), children with adjustment related difficulties and children of abuse with a local community agency.
I primarily utilize a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach with an integration of other evidence-based therapies, such as solution-focused, person-centered, emotion-focused, and family systems. I also have experience integrating faith into therapy from a Christian worldview, and can offer that approach upon request.
Fun Facts

I enjoy sunsets, long walks with close company, good music, a good book, making silly dance videos with my kids (and hubby although he plays “DJ”), and baking (and eating) pumpkin pie! Extra whipped cream. All year round.
